Year 7 Parents and Carers Evening:

Wednesday 27 February - 3.15pm to 6.30pm

We are delighted to invite you to our Year 7 Parent and Carer Progress Evening on Wednesday 27 February from 3.15pm to 6.30pm. The evening will be organised by appointment and will take place in the main hall at BACA.  We would like to encourage all parents and carers to come along to the academy on the evening to discuss your child’s academic progress with their individual subject teachers.

Bookings can be made via our online bookings system.  The booking slots will stay open until 9.00am on Monday 25 February.

All parent and carers with up-to-date contact details listed at the school will receive an email regarding how to book time slots.  Follow the link in the email, or type this address into your web browser; https://parents-booking.co.uk/baca

Log in using your surname, email address and the name and date of birth (DoB) of your child (if you have more than one child at the Academy, you will need to login separately for each child).  After login, you can use the automated system (the ‘booking wizard’) or you can choose to make individual bookings, where you will be able to pick your children’s teachers/classes and then book a time slot. If you do not have internet access at home, we have set up a terminal in the school for you to use.  Alternatively, you can call the main office on 01273 691191 or email office@baca-uk.co.uk with the appointments you require.  We will call you back if requested slots are not available.

All Year 7 students will be expected to remain at the academy at 3.00pm until they have completed their meetings with their subject teachers.  Year 7 students whose parent and carers are unable to attend will be taken round by members of staff where possible.

There will only be one BACA Bus return service leaving BACA at 4.30pm.  This is so that Year 7 students whose parents or carers cannot attend, are able to meet with their teachers earlier on in the afternoon.

Please contact reception if there is a valid reason why your child cannot stay at the academy after 3.00pm or if you have an appointment later on in the afternoon and you would like your child to leave at 3.00pm and return later with you.

We look forward to seeing you at this important event.
