Sports Academies

The RMA is part of the Russell Martin Foundation: a charity founded by former professional footballer Rusell Martin, which works to positively impact the lives of children, young people, and adults. 

Football Academy students benefit from:

• Regular (up to three times per week) training sessions with a UEFA A Licensed coach

• Regular competitive fixtures

• Fitness work to build strength and conditioning

• Analysis and individual performance plans to help them develop as players

And for BACA parents, there's no compromise between academic studies and sporting development; no rush to get to after-school training sessions; and no school fees.

It is just important to us that Football Academy students thrive off the pitch as well as on it, so as well as focusing on their playing, students also develop important life skills like teamwork, confidence, and discipline, all while continuing their education in a supportive environment.

Founder Russell Martin, professional football manager and former player, who was born in Brighton and started his playing career at Brighton & Hove Albion's youth academy, said:
