Study with Aldridge Football Academy
The Aldridge Football Academy has grown exponentially over the last two and a half years from 21 players to 50 players. The Academy has an excellent football partnership and player pathway with Burgess Hill town FC.
Students have the choice to study a range of A levels and BTEC courses at either Portslade Aldridge Academy (PACA) or Brighton Aldridge Academy (BACA). The schools provide a full time education and football academy program that has enabled and developed players. Many have gone on to play for Burgess Hill Town FC (BHTFC), two of the Academy’s alumni have progressed to study and play in USA, and several went on to university to study a wide range of sports based subjects and other degree courses.
The Football Academy coaching staff analyse all matches by filming games and training sessions. Playertek gps tracking pods and vests are used to monitor the athlete’s fitness progress. Strength and conditioning sessions are all individual, player centred, programs.
“We’ve come a long way in a short space of time in our vision for the students that play football at the Academy. We feel we can offer players an excellent football pathway as well as the chance to succeed off the pitch - we want our players to have it all” says Paul Dollner, Director of Football for the Aldridge Football Academy.
The Academy’s aims and objectives are simple, to offer players a chance to develop on and off the pitch and give students the chance to experience a high standard of education alongside an excellent standard of football.
The A team are now competing in the national conference youth alliance under nineteen league, the B team competes in the Association of Colleges (AoC) second tier league and the C team play in the local sixth form league.
Please get in touch with the Aldridge Football Academy if you want to play for an ambitious, rising star of a team.
