Sri Lankan Tour A Great Experience For Sixth Formers
The Aldridge Cricket Academy tour to Sri Lanka over February half term produced some excellent cricket and some incredible life-experiences for the 18 BACA and Porstlad Aldridge Community Academy students taking part.
As well as playing six top-level matches, including one at a Test ground, the 11 day tour gave the squad some time away from the crease to experience different aspects of local life and culture.
There is a great write up of the tour in the Brighton Argus 27.02.19 You can also read the full tour report by our Tour Ambassador, former Sussex player John Spencer.

Today’s venue & opposition, the Foundation of Goodness. A ground built by the support from MCC after the Tsunami. Finally becoming used to the heat & despite the loss still improving. A top day with the gloves & bat for @howzat_dowse. @_MCCFoundation pic.twitter.com/XHw30Cwf1n
