A-level students watch Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night performed at Brighton’s Theatre Royal
BACA’s year 12 and 13 students studying English Literature at A-Level saw the Twelfth Night brought to life at Brighton’s Theatre Royal. The students are studying this play by Shakespeare as part of their course work and in class have discussed the difference of reading the work compared to seeing it performed on stage.
The students had the opportunity to experience the play acted out on stage in a production by The English Touring Theatre and Sheffield Theatres. They enjoyed the performance and by seeing the play live gained a much better understanding of the elements that make it a comedy.
