July Enterprise Day
July's Enterprise Day saw students enjoying a range of challenges from science activities to to walking Ditchling Beacon; from construction to music; from food technology and sport. Students and staff had a chance to try something different, perhaps out of their comfort zone, and demonstrate their enterprising skills - risk-taking, problem-solving, creativity, passion, determination and teamwork
Over forty guests from organisations and businesses such as Southern Water, Cobb PR, Brighton and Sussex Universities, The Good Business Club and the NHS gave up their time to conduct mock interviews with our Year 10s.
The interviews gave students a chance to talk about their future career plans and also hear about the career paths of the adults taking part in the day. Some used it as a mock interview for sixth form applications. For others it was a chance to build confidence for future job interviews.
