Our Year 7 students participated in an exciting athletics event on Thursday, competing against seven other schools from Brighton.

The evening started strong with the girls securing 3rd place in the female obstacle relay race, while the boys claimed an impressive 1st place in the male obstacle relay. Following this, Jack delivered an outstanding performance to take 1st place in the 2-Lap Individual Race, with Tazmeen achieving a solid 3rd place finish.

Throughout the event, all students took part in a range of field activities, including Speed Bounce, Standing Long Jump, Vertical Jump, Shot Putt, and Standing Triple Jump. Their effort and determination resulted in some truly exceptional scores.

Midway through the evening, Malachy and Amelia showcased their endurance, with Malachy competing in the 4-Lap Individual Race and Amelia tackling the challenging 6-Lap Individual Race.

As the event drew to a close, Beau gave an impressive performance in the 6-Lap Individual Race, while Toby and Josh dominated the 8-Lap Paarlauf, securing 1st place for the team. The final event, the 4 x 2-Lap Relay, capped off a fantastic evening. The girls raced their way to 3rd place, and the boys finished the night with another stellar 1st place finish.
