Football Academy to compete in The National U19 Alliance League
Burgess Hill Town FC (BHTFC) are delighted to announce that they will be competing in The National U19 Alliance League next season. The team is an initiative between BHTFC, Portslade Aldridge Community Academy (PACA) and Brighton Aldridge Community Academy (BACA).
Our full time football and education program will offer students the chance to play against other professional and non-league academy teams. Plus this partnership will allow and encourage students to study a wide range of A level courses as well as BTEC / Cambridge national courses across a variety of subject areas. It is aimed at offering students the best education platform alongside a solid football pathway to enable progression for all on and off the pitch.
Paul Dollner, Director of Football for PACA & BACA said:
“This project and partnership is a great opportunity for our students to study, play and train full time. We want our students to have it all and this partnership will allow us to deliver our aim.
All home games for this league will be played at Burgess Hill Town FC, our students / players will be able to develop both on and off the pitch and the future for us as a sixth form football academy and for the club looks very bright.”
The Academy’s games will be played midweek, 2pm KO and all match details will be posted on BHTFC website. Local community members are welcome to watch.
