BACA will be holding our next whole-school Enterprise Day on 10 March 2020. Here at the Academy, entrepreneurship is embedded across all we do. The focus of our Enterprise Days is to provide students with the opportunity to take part in a range of different activities to demonstrate and develop their enterprising skills; risk-taking, problem-solving, creativity, passion, determination and teamwork.
In the past, our successful Enterprise days have provided students with the chance to try something new, perhaps out of their comfort zone, with the support of local organisations and businesses who generously give up their time to support the Academy. Last term, we were joined by local businesswomen and men from companies including Southern Water, Metrobank and Yomdel. You can read more information about the success of our previous Enterprise days here.
This term, Year 9 students will be given the opportunity to take part in mock interviews where they will discuss their future career development plans and build confidence for future job opportunities. BACA are seeking support from volunteers and businesses to conduct interviews with our students.
