DigiDaz named as Young Start-up Talent finalists

DigiDaz is a company formed by a group of sixth formers who love entertainment, which they provide to other BACA students.  This entertainment helps students with their education and also gives them an opportunity to enjoy time with their friends outside of lessons at the Academy.

In the autumn term DigiDaz hosted successful FIFA football tournaments for students in years 7, 8 and 9 along with a highly competitive tournament amongst staff members.

The team’s future plans are to offer a wider range of games and extend their offer to other schools across Brighton and Hove.  To help them achieve their goals they applied to Young Start-up Talent, and after intense 1-2-1 and Dragon’s Den style pitches they have been named as finalists in this year’s competition.

The winner of the competition will be named on 16 February at Sea Life Brighton, and will walk away with £50K of business funding.  We wish DigiDaz the best of luck, and are proud they have made it this far.
