DIGI-DAZ ENTERTAINMENT runners-up at the Young Start-Up Talent Finals
On Tuesday February 16, DIGI-DAZ ENTERTAINMENT, a start-up company run by a group of sixth formers attended the Young Start-Up Finals at SEA LIFE Brighton. The evening began with all finalists occupying the centre with professional industry stands where they met and spoke with guests about their businesses and products.
Through nothing more than enthusiasm, Tristan Kibble, Communications Manager, managed to attract a small crowd where he managed to impress them all with what DIGI-Daz are about.
From here, guests moved to the Victoria Room for the Awards Presentation where speakers included:
- Lorraine Nugent, Managing director of Media Word Waves
- Matt Turner, Managing Director of Creative Pod
- Max Leviston, General Manager of Sea Life Brighton
- Martin Hess, Former Vice president of Sales at Hewlett-Packard
- Ben Towers, CEO of Ben Towers Design and Social Marley
Following this, guests were treated to a video of the Dragon’s Den style pitches all finalists underwent earlier on in the competition.
Now, after months of pitching to judges and meetings with working professionals, the winner was ready to be announced and the competition came to a close.
DIGI-DAZ, who have had a rollercoaster of a time throughout the competition managed to achieve second place in the contest, with first prize being awarded to Nick Musto, a student at the University of Sussex, for his nightlife app RADAR.
