Celebrating more student success and hard work at BACA

On Tuesday 24 May, BACA held their most recent Whole School Assembly to share the success and hard work of students who had been nominated for awards by members of staff.  There were a total of 45 awards given for one of the entrepreneurial attributes at BACA (Creativity, Passion, Team Work, Determination, Risk Taking, and Problem Solving) or a Social Action badge.

6 students from the Sixth Form were among the award winners. A breakdown by house showed there were 7 from Gunnell, 14 from Malala, 8 from Roddick and 10 from Volk.

As an addition to this terms assembly, we also had the opportunity of celebrating 27 Arts Awards.  The Arts Awards were given for students who have shown their hard work, determination and passion for art and also gives them a qualification which is recognised on the UCAS Tariff system helping them further their education once they leave BACA.

We are extremely proud of the students and the art work they have created.  The Arts Awards given were; Discover Award, Explore Award and Bronze Award and can find out more about the different Arts Awards here - http://www.artsaward.org.uk/site/?id=1346

Well done to all students who won awards – keep up the great work!
