BACA joins the Brighton SnailSpace project!

We are very pleased to announce that BACA has committed to adopting and decorating a SnailSpace sculpture that the school will receive in June this year. The Academy has pledged to raise a minimum of £750 for the hospice care charity Martlets though various events, and to raise awareness of the wonderful work that the organization does for people living with a terminal illness in and around Brighton and Hove.

The snail decorated by BACA students will be displayed in the Junior Snailway among other snails decorated by schools and youth groups in central Brighton in autumn of this year. After the exhibition, the school will welcome home the snail and display it on the premises.

The Academy is excited to be part of a project that inspires community involvement for the students though raising money, creating beautiful art, and raises awareness about a valuable and worthy cause.
