BACA hosts primary multi-skills event for year 2 students

On Monday 23rd March BACA ran a multi skills competition for year 2 students from eight local primary schools. The schools involved were; Middle Street, St Paul’s, St Mark’s, Mary Magdalen’s, St Bartholomew’s, Carton Hill, Fairlight and Elm Grove.  300 year 2 students took part in the fun day of sporting activities aimed at improving a wide range of skills.

BACA’s Sports Hall was buzzing throughout the day with students taking part in activities including; a bean bag relay, small hurdles, an obstacle course, shuttle runs, ladder runs, aiming and throwing, speed bounce, ball pass and jumping.

The focus of the day was for the students to work as a team, improve individual technical skills, encourage respectful sporting attitudes and develop determination.

BACA’s Sports Leaders ran the event and were wonderful role models on the day.
