BACA Enterprise Kitchen’s Pop-Up restaurant at The Bevy
On Thursday 7 May and Thursday 11 June BACA students who are working towards their catering qualifications hosted pop-up restaurants at The Bevy.
Working in the pub kitchen the students prepared and served gourmet three course meals to guests at the pub who’d pre-booked tables.
Sir Rod Aldridge and his wife were impressed with the student’s skills at the first event, and a number of BACA staff along with local community members enjoyed the meals on both occasions.
Dishes the students served included; warm local asparagus with hollandaise sauce, tornado of local venison with a bitter chocolate glace, field mushroom Rossini and cold lemon soufflé with candied lemon.
The students are now starting to plan for their next Pop-up restaurant. The date and time for the next event is still to be confirmed.
