Aldridge Cricket Academy receives praise

The Aldridge Foundation Girls Project is now in its third year, currently providing free cricket hubs and sessions for 11-16 year-olds in Brighton, Burgess Hill, Portslade and Worthing, Sussex Cricket.

The Foundation has recently been acknowledged by the Brighton and Hove Independent on the ongoing efforts made by the girls project and how it continues to show how successful and vital these clubs are to the community.

The four hubs start this week and are free and open to girls aged 11-16:

  • Brighton Hub starts next Thursday 10 January before continuing every Thursday until 4 April (Sir Rod Aldridge Cricket Centre here at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, 7.00-8.00pm) 
  • Burgess Hill Hub starts on Tuesday 8 January and runs every Tuesday until 19 March (Triangle Leisure Centre, 7.30-8.30pm) 
  • The Portslade and Worthing Hubs begin on Wednesday 9 January and continue every Wednesday until 3 April (Portslade Leisure Centre, 5.30-6.30pm)  (Durrington High School, 6.30-7.30pm)
