Dear Parents and Carers
The Government’s timeline for partial and gradual re-opening of schools has been updated on the Department for Education’s website and has had much coverage in the media in the last few days. In developing the BACA plan we are clear that the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is of paramount importance to us. Nationally and locally our Trust is listening to the views of other key external stakeholders and we are considering their views carefully as we proceed.
We have been putting together plans for the gradual reintroduction of Year 10 to onsite provision at BACA from after half term. Following recent Government announcements, we now intend for this to start on Monday June 15th. We have written to Year 10 parents concerning the detailed arrangements for this. You can view that letter here.
We can also confirm that we will be aiming to partially re-open for Year 12 students from Monday 15th June. You can view a copy that letter and the arrangements for Year 12s here.
Following news from the Government that most students in Years 7, 8 and 9 will not be returning to school before September, we will continue to provide a range of learning resources and opportunities to support students and their parents and carers. You can continue to access this through our BACA@Home pages.
