Life at BACA COLLEGE
The day to day experience
At BACA College you are guaranteed a personalised and bespoke learning experience. Our positive and welcoming environments ensure you fulfill your potential whether you are pursuing an academic, vocational or technical route. We offer the systems and support you need to tailor your learning pathway to achieve your desired outcomes.
Dedicated college social and learning areas offer you a flexible working environment. You may choose to study in one of our computer suites, or check out a laptop to complete your work in the way best suited to your learning style, be it in a quiet work space, in collaboration with friends in the common area or outdoors. Independent study sessions give you dedicated time for coursework where assistance from the Student Manager and Learning Support Assistant is available. Social Spaces The common rooms are a space for you to catch up and socialise during break and lunch periods. There are areas for you to work quietly during any free lessons, and information available on careers, apprenticeships and universities which you will be encouraged to make use of to ensure you have a clear goal to work towards your plan and ambitions.
Our dedicated pastoral support staff provide you with the resources and guidance needed to seek out solutions for your future. You can speak with the pastoral manager or the Head of Sixth Form whenever you need additional support.
