Enrichment Activities & TRIPS
Each year students’ learning is also brought to life outside of the classroom both locally and abroad, through trips. The experiences vary each year but have previously included; sustainability workshops at Stanmer Park in Brighton, theatre and museum visits in London, visits to Disneyland Paris to attended business seminars, visiting WWII bunkers in Belgium, a cultural experience in New York and volunteering in India!
Please also see our ‘Extracurricular’ page for information on what extra activities students can participate in outside of the classroom.
REBOOT - EARLY INTERVENTION YOUTH PROGRAMME
The Office of the Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner (OSPCC) was successful in receiving funding to commission The REBOOT project, offering a personalised, strengths-based, one-to-one support for children and young people who are aged between 11 and 17 years old. With the support of a Personal Coach, they will identify which activities would be most beneficial in helping them overcome some of the issues they face. With the help of a youth coach the child or young person will get opportunities to access new activities which may be a new way to focus themselves and create positive opportunities.
This programme is offered to students who may require support in making positive changes in their behaviour and help build their confidence and resilience to manage and make better choices.
