BACA Smashes Sport Relief Target!

Students and teachers rallied together to raise over £250 for Sport Relief in one day!  BACA’s PE faculty organised an all day row and cycle with the aim of rowing the length of the River Thames and cycling a leg of the Tour de France.

Students diligently rowed or cycled in stints of 20 minutes and paid £1.50 to do so.  Using Sport Relief’s donation page a further £95 was raised from staff donations and people in the wider community.  This was a brilliant event that generated a lot of excitement and interest, in which everyone could participate.

The Brighton Argus even covered the efforts that BACA made in order to raise such a big amount of money in such a short time.  Read more about the article here that includes information on events that other schools in the area did to raise money for the charity.
